Thursday's Lunch: 2nd Grade, Here He Comes!

This is it! Thursday is Bub's last official day of school as a 1st grader. He met his second grade teacher today and he absolutely loved her, which makes me very happy. It is a super small class, only 16 kids. But it should make for a good year. He told me in the car on the way home from school that he can't wait for summer to be over because he wants to start 2nd grade already and learn cursive. Crazy!
Bubs decided that he wanted to pick out everything that went into his lunch today. I obliged and this is what he came up with...

In this bento:















*Peanut butter and jelly "2nd Grade" sandwich
*2 jumbo marshmallows
*Yogurt covered cranberries
*Petite carrots with ranch dip
*Fruit Snacks
*Wheat Thins with white cheddar and salami cut into the number 2

Since it is now summer, I won't be making lunches as often. Bubs will be going to camp on the base and they provide lunch. I might have some lunches or posts every now and then.
